Our lawyers have a wealth of appellate litigation experience, including having served as law clerks to appellate judges. Our appellate practice is based on the idea that excellence in developing and presenting an appeal controls the outcome.
We have successfully handled many appeals in civil and criminal cases, in federal and state court. Our civil appeals have involved challenges to jury verdicts, court and administrative decisions in areas as varied as business law, environmental law, divorce, personal injury, medical and legal malpractice, civil rights, civil forfeiture, employment and insurance matters. We have represented defendants in criminal appeals in state court prosecutions for murder, manslaughter, larceny and drug crimes, as well as in federal cases involving everything from fraud and corruption convictions to environmental and regulatory matters.
